I was gutted to read that cover artist Chris Moore died earlier this month.
He was best known for his science fiction cover work (especially for Philip K Dick), but I became a fan via the covers he did for the Craig Thomas thrillers in the 1980s. The Bear’s Tears is possibly my favourite book cover of all time.
I was fortunate to exchange emails with Chris about his work some years ago. A real loss.
